Please use this to examine how you spend the finances God has entrusted you with. All that we have comes from Him, and all that we have belongs to Him, just as much as all that He has, His blessings, He has freely given us in Christ.
He is the one who knows best on how you should spend the money in your hands. As you learn to trust Him, obey Him, He will entrust you with more. He loves you and He always wants to prepare you for the best. Pray about your finances and ask God for a plan on where to place it, before you even start spending it.
Bible Verses
Jeremiah 29:11. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Matthew 6:33. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Proverbs 19:21. Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.
Proverbs 6:6-8. Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise. Without having any chief, officer, or ruler, she prepares her bread in summer and gathers her food in harvest.
Proverbs 13:11. Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.
Proverbs 19:17. Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.
Proverbs 21:20. Precious treasure and oil are in a wise man’s dwelling, but a foolish man devours it.
Proverbs 24:27. Prepare your work outside; get everything ready for yourself in the field, and after that build your house.
Isaiah 55:2. Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in rich food
Psalm 90:12. So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.
2 Corinthians 9:10-15. He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God. By their approval of this service, they will glorify God because of your submission that comes from your confession of the gospel of Christ, and the generosity of your contribution for them and for all others, while they long for you and pray for you, because of the surpassing grace of God upon you. Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!
